Specifically, this Ford F-150 recall affects 1.47 million individual units of this model, and those vehicles that were manufactured between 2004 and 2006 are those that could have defective airbags.  Ford Motor Company has stated that it will send notification of this problem to owners in May, and those owners are asked to bring their vehicles to the nearest dealership for a free repair.  If owners notice that their airbag light is already on, they should immediately go in to have the problem handled by technicians.

During the evening of February 18, 2009, a fatal roll over accident occurred in Henderson, Nevada. One person died at the scene and another person died while enroute to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. The accident occurred at Lake Mead Boulevard and Fiesta Henderson Parkway. Since few details have been released, it is unknown how exactly this tragic motor vehicle accident occurred. There are several possibilities. The accident may have resulted from driver error. For example, the driver may have been traveling too fast under the circumstances. It is possible that the vehicle itself or the tires were defectively designed resulting in a rollover.
