The latest fatal Las Vegas car accident occurred yesterday just before noon when 22-year-old Geno Borelli and Robert Cahalan, also 22 and both of Las Vegas, were riding in an SUV on Decatur Boulevard just north of Lone Mountain Road.  At that point, the SUV crossed the center line and collided head-on with the school bus.  The passenger in the SUV was killed at the scene, and the driver died later at a nearby hospital.

Vehicles crashing into bus stops have resulted in fatalities like the death of Patricia Hoff back in July of 2008 near boulder hwy.   But after a bus safety study the RTC concluded that the collisions have nothing to do with the structure of the shelters but rather with the people in control of the vehicles.”
