According to police, the latest Las Vegas hit-and-run accident took place at approximately 12:15 p.m. when a 50-year-old man whose name has not been released was crossing the street at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Pecos Street.  No word was given as to whether the man was in the crosswalk, but he was hit by what was described as a blue Ford Mustang.  After impact, the vehicle fled the scene, and the man was rushed to University Medical Center and listed in serious condition.
