According to reports, the latest fatal Las Vegas auto accident took place at approximately 6 p.m.  The crash occurred near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Lake Mead Boulevard in the eastern valley of greater Las Vegas.  Police stated that the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Johnathon James Murray of Las Vegas was heading south on Hollywood Boulevard when he ran into a water control system.

As a result of this development, Murray lost control of his Mazda and slid off the road, striking a water manifold head-on and leading to an enormous amount of damage to the vehicle.  Tragically, the passenger in the vehicle, 20-year-old David Ritzer of Las Vegas, was killed in this Las Vegas auto accident.  Murray suffered what was described as moderate injuries but is expected to recover.
